Daniel Kingsley, PT, OCS, COMT, CSCS (President/Owner)

 Dan Kingsley is a graduate of Daemen College in Amherst, NY and has been practicing outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy since 1999. During that time he has obtained specialty certifications in strength and conditioning (CSCS), injury prevention (Sportsmetrics™), EvidencedBased Practice (EBP), custom foot orthotic fabrication, and specialized soft tissue mobilization (ASTYM™). He also spent 8 years studying and training for a certification in orthopaedic manual therapy (COMT).

In 2008 he obtained board certification in orthopaedics (OCS) by the APTA. There are only a few therapists in Central New York that carry the COMT and OCS certifications, the closest being Ithaca, NY.

Currently, Dan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Chittenango Rotary Club, and the Greater Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce. Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, running, crosscountry skiing, hiking, and fishing.

Timothy Francisco, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Dr. Tim Francisco is from Oriskany, NY. He first became interested in physical therapy when his mother suggested it to him as   a career during his senior year in high school. While in his freshman year at college, he volunteered at Faxton hospital. There he fell in love with assisting the physical therapist’s working in the rehabilitation department and that is when he knew he wanted to be a physical therapist.
He graduated from physical therapy school at Utica College of Syracuse University in 2000. He worked in a subacute rehabilitation setting for 3 1/2 years before working at ProActive Physical Therapy for a little over 6 years. During this time he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, certified in the ASTYM Treatment and Sole Supports Custom Fit Foot Orthotics. He has also taken many continuing education classes including McKenzie classes and completed Evidence in Motion's Evidence Based Practice specialized orthopedic residency program. Recently, he became a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion.

Alyssa Shute, PT, DPT

 Dr. Alyssa Shute, DPT, CSCS, is from Schenectady, NY. She first became interested in physical therapy during high school while volunteering at Ellis Hospital in the Physical Therapy Department. She enrolled in an internship program during her senior year of high school and was employed by Physical Therapy Associates of Schenectady as an office coordinator.
She was accepted into the three plus three Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at LeMoyne College and SUNY Upstate Medical University.

She received her BA in biology; she graduated from SUNY Upstate with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2011 and was hired at Chittenango PT where she worked for ten weeks to complete her final clinical experience as a physical therapy student from Upstate Medical University. Alyssa is certified in the ASTYM treatment and Sole Supports Custom Fit Foot Orthotics. She recently obtained her certification in strength and conditioning (CSCS).

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys staying active, playing sports and participating in outdoor activities.

Christopher Farruggio, PT, DPT, OCS


Dr. Christopher Farruggio grew up in Syracuse, NY where he graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2014 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree with high honors.  He successfully completed an orthopedic residency through Evidence In Motion (EIM) in 2016 and became a board certified specialist in orthopedics in 2017.  He is also a certified ASTYM provider and Sole Supports Custom Foot Orthotics provider as well as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Christopher was originally exposed to the field of physical therapy through firsthand experience as a patient seen by multiple physical therapists throughout high school and college. These experiences planted a seed of interest in the profession that grew over the years through summer internships and eventually culminated in a love for the profession as he began and completed his coursework and clinical rotations through SUNY Upstate Medical University.  Christopher is committed to providing evidence-based treatments for his patients while at the same time empowering them to manage and take responsibility for their own wellbeing and physical function.  He is also passionate about investing in the next generation of young therapists as a clinical instructor for SUNY Upstate PT students.

 Christopher is a member of Missio Church in Syracuse, NY where he serves as a small group leader helping and encouraging others to know and represent Jesus as they live faithful lives of worship.  His wife and he have been enjoying spending time with their first child, Gabriel Isaac, who was born in April 2017.

Samantha Lawrence, PT, DPT, OCS

 Dr. Samantha (Guarrera) Lawrence graduated from SUNY Geneseo with her bachelor’s degree in biology and later from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2014 where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. She has been with Chittenango Physical Therapy since 2014. Samantha completed the Evidence in Motion Orthopaedic residency program in 2016 and is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedics (OCS), specializing in the evaluation and treatment of all orthopaedic conditions. She has also obtained certifications in both ASTYM treatment and Sole Supports Custom Fit Foot Orthotics.


Samantha entered the physical therapy field looking to play a role in helping patients of all ages reach individualized goals and return to higher function without limits. Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing recreational sports, running/staying active, and attempting to keep up with her husband on the golf course. 

Meredith Albert, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Dr Meredith Albert is a graduate of Russell Sage College and has been practicing mostly outpatient Physical Therapy for the past twenty years. Over the course of her career, Meredith has obtained certifications in Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) through the NSCA and in the McKenzie Method – Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, the ASTYM treatment, and Sole Supports Custom Fit Foot Orthotics. She completed the Evidence in Motion (EIM) Orthopaedic Residency and doctorate in Physical Therapy programs in 2016, and is a board certified specialist in Orthopedics (OCS). Outside of work Meredith enjoys instructing group exercise classes. She is a certified group exercise instructor through the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and teaches a variety of classes and formats.

Sean Laubenstein PT, DPT, OCS

 Dr. Sean Laubenstein graduated from Binghamton University in 2013 with a BS in Molecular Biology and SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2016 with his DPT. He is certified in Sole Supports foot orthotics and the ASTYM treatment. He completed the EIM orthopedic residency program in 2018, and is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS).  Sean chose his career as a physical therapist due to his fascination with the human movement system and the opportunity his career affords him to make people’s lives better through movement. 

Outside work, Sean likes to train for and compete in triathlons, learn random facts, cook, and play guitar.
